Nuveen Large Cap Value, Mid Cap Value funds get new management teams

San Diego, April 10 - Nuveen Investment Funds, Inc. announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it has appointed new portfolio managers for two of its funds, the Nuveen Large Cap Value Fund and the Nuveen Mid Cap Value Fund.

Effective immediately, Cori B. Johnson, Gerald C. Bren and Derek M. Sadowsky have been named portfolio managers of the Nuveen Large Cap Value Fund, replacing the fund's current portfolio managers.

In addition, Karen L. Bowie and David A. Chalupnik have been named portfolio managers of the Nuveen Mid Cap Value Fund, replacing that fund's current portfolio managers.

The filing noted that there have been no changes in either fund's investment objectives or policies with the management changes.

Chicago-based Nuveen Fund Advisors, Inc. serves as the funds' investment adviser.
