Nuveen Global Value Opportunities Fund adds Hart, Mahler as managers

Minneapolis, March 16 - Nuveen Global Value Opportunities Fund announced that Michael Hart and Ariane Mahler have been named portfolio managers to the fund, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Effective April 1, the two will replace current portfolio manager David Iben.

Hart is a managing director, portfolio manager and special situations and fixed-income analyst at Tradewinds Global Investors, LLC. Before joining Tradewinds in 2007, he was the president of Hemisphere Asset Management, an investment management firm he established in 2001.

Mahler is a managing director, portfolio manager and telecommunication services and utilities analyst at Tradewinds. Before joining Tradewinds in 2007, she was a director at Credit Suisse Asset Management where she oversaw the telecom, media and electric utilities sectors.

Los Angeles-based Tradewinds Global Investors is the subadviser to the fund.
