Northwestern changes Large Cap Blend Portfolio management

San Diego, Nov. 1 - Northwestern Mutual Series Fund, Inc. announced management changes to its Large Cap Blend Portfolio in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As of Oct. 31, Terry Berkemeier, director and senior portfolio manager of Capital Guardian Trust Co., is no longer portfolio manager due to his upcoming Dec. 31 retirement from the company.

In addition, Mark D. Hickey replaced Berkemeier as a portfolio manager to the Capital Guardian Trust multiple portfolio manager system managing the portfolio.

Hickey, the vice president of Capital International Research, Inc., an affiliate of Capital Guardian Trust, has been employed by Capital Guardian Trust or an affiliate since 2001 and began managing the portfolio in 2011.

The portfolio's investment manager is Milwaukee-based Mason Street Advisors, LLC, and its subadviser is Capital Guardian Trust.
