Knoxville, Tenn., June 18 - Newstrike Resources Ltd. said it raised C$1.09 million in a private placement of stock.

The company sold 1,816,500 flow-through common shares at C$0.60 per share.

Newstrike, based in Toronto, is an early stage mineral exploration company.
