Fitch affirms La Paix

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the La Paix SA's national long-term CC (tun) rating and removed it from rating Watch negative.

A stable outlook is assigned, the agency said, adding that its national short-term rating is affirmed at C (tun).

The rating was placed on RWN in June 2006 when its Carthage Land theme park was closed by the authorities following a grave accident, the agency said.

The removal of the RWN follows confirmation that the park's revenues have reverted to their growing trend since early October, the agency noted.
