Kellogg files automatic shelf registration covering debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., May 18 - Kellogg Co. filed a debt securities automatic shelf registration in an S-3-ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate and working capital purposes, debt repayment, to finance acquisitions, repurchase common stock and capital expenditures.

The cereal and convenience food company is based in Battle Creek, Mich.
