John Hancock Technical Opportunities ups minimum investment

San Diego, Oct. 26 - John Hancock Technical Opportunities Fund increased the minimum initial investment requirement for its class A shares to $10,000, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Previously, the minimum initial investment requirement for the class A shares was $2,500.

In addition, the new minimum requirement for retirement accounts is now $2,500.

The minimum initial investment remains at $2,000 for Coverdell ESAs and at $250 for group investments.

The investment adviser is Boston-based John Hancock Investment Management Services, LLC.
