John Hancock Large Cap Equity Fund replaces portfolio managers

San Diego, Dec. 7 -John Hancock Investment Trust announced that its John Hancock Large Cap Equity Fund has adjusted its portfolio management team, adding Walter T. McCormick and Emory W. Sanders, Jr. as senior managing directors and senior portfolio managers, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Both McCormick and Sanders joined John Hancock Asset Management, the fund's subadviser, in 2010. Prior to that, McCormick served as managing director and senior portfolio manager at Wells Capital Management from 2002 to 2010, and Sanders served as director, portfolio manager and senior equity analyst at the same firm from 1997 to 2010.

The fund's investment adviser is Boston-based John Hancock Advisers, LLC.
