John Hancock Funds II plans to terminate seven funds

San Diego, March 30 - The board of trustees of John Hancock Funds II approved the termination of seven of its funds, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On about March 31, the Global Agribusiness Fund and the Global Infrastructure Fund will terminate.

On April 13, the Index 500 Fund, Mid Cap Index Fund, Small Cap Index Fund, International Equity Index Fund and Total Bond Market Fund will terminate.

Boston-based John Hancock Investment Management Services, LLC is the investment adviser to the funds.
