JBIC offers dollar-denominated Japan-guaranteed bonds
Chicago, Jan. 17 – Japan Bank for International Cooperation is in the market with a dollar-denominated offering of guaranteed bonds, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The bonds will be guaranteed by Japan.
Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd., Citigroup Global Markets Ltd., Goldman Sachs International and J.P. Morgan Securities plc are the bookrunners.
MUFG Bank, Ltd., London Branch (also acting through U.S. Bank Trust Co., NA) is the fiscal agent.
Mori Hamada & Matsumoto is listed as the legal adviser for JBIC. Morrison & Foerster LLC is advising the bank regarding U.S. law. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is working as counsel for the underwriters.
The bonds will be listed in Luxembourg.
The financial institution is based in Tokyo.
