ION Media posts $3.28 million July operating loss on sales of $13.21 million

New York, Aug. 20 - ION Media Networks, Inc. reported a $3.28 million operating loss for July on $13.21 million in net revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The net loss for July was $9.13 million.
In comparison, at the end of June the company posted a $2.84 million operating loss on $13.90 million in net revenues, and had a net loss of $12.46 million.
ION had cash and cash equivalents of $119.28 million at July 31, compared to $45.89 million at the end of June.
Based in West Palm Beach, Fla., ION is a television broadcaster. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-13125.
