Jefferies puts ICON at buy

Jefferies & Co., Inc. analyst David Windley rated ICON plc at buy. The analyst remains positive about the company's visibility into calendar year 2007. In addition, management is confident that current backlog can support 76% of consensus revenue expectations over the next 12 months, according to Windley. Shares of the Dublin, Ireland-based contract research organization were up 38 cents, or 0.99%, at $38.84. (Nasdaq: ICLR)
