American Ecology director sells 346,200 shares, keeps 6.2% interest

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 12 - American Ecology Corp. director Edward F. Heil sold 346,200 shares of the company's stock between Aug. 29 and Sept. 3 at prices from $32.50 to $32.59 each.

Heil beneficially owns 1,136,866 shares, or 6.2%, of the Boise, Idaho, hazardous and industrial waste management services company.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
