Eurobank cancels remaining €500 million covered bonds due 2027

Buffalo, N.Y., Feb. 13 – Eurobank SA completed repurchasing and canceling the outstanding €500 million of its series 2 floating-rate covered bonds due January 2027 (ISIN: XS1900633212), according to a notice on Tuesday.

The series has been fully canceled and delisted, effective Feb. 13.

The company issued €650 million of the bonds in 2018 under its €5 billion debt issuance program. The maturity date and extended final maturity date were each extended twice after issue.

HSBC Corporate Trustees (UK) Ltd. was the trustee.

The financial services company is based in Athens.
