Loan funds see $460 million daily inflows on Thursday

Portland, Ore., Feb. 18 – The dedicated bank-loan funds saw $460 million of daily net inflows on Thursday, the most recent session for which data was available at press time, according to a market source.

Actively managed bank-loan funds saw $290 million of inflows on the day.

Bank-loan ETFs saw $170 million of inflows on Thursday, the source said.

News of Thursday's daily flows follows a Thursday report that the combined bank loan funds saw $1.77 billion of net inflows in the week to the Wednesday, Feb. 16 close.

That follows the previous week's record inflow of $2.29 billion.

Assets under management for the loan mutual fund base is now $133 billion, the source said.
