Two Columbia investment-grade funds add managers Cielinski and Cobon

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Oct. 18 - Columbia Funds Series Trust I and II announced portfolio management changes to two of its investment-grade, fixed-income funds, according to separate 497 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Columbia Global Bond Fund has added Jim Cielinski and Matthew Cobon as portfolio managers, joining existing senior portfolio manager Nicholas Pifer.

The fund seeks high total return through income and growth of capital. Under normal market conditions, it invests at least 80% of its net assets in investment-grade corporate or government debt obligations of issuers located in at least three different countries, with at least 40% of net assets invested in debt obligations of foreign governments and foreign companies.

On the same note, Columbia International Bond Fund has also added Cielinski and Cobon. They join Pifer and C. Michael Ng in managing the fund's portfolio.

This fund seeks total return consisting of current income and capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, it invests at least 80% of its net assets in investment-grade government or corporate debt obligations of issuers located in at least three foreign countries.

Boston-based Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC is the investment adviser to both funds.
