Shamrock Activist Fund buys more shares of Collectors Universe

Charlotte, N.C., June 11 - Collectors Universe Inc. investors led by the Shamrock Activist Value Fund, LP purchased 90,900 shares of the company's stock from May 23 through June 8, priced between $13.69 and $13.99 per share, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own 637,537 shares, or 7.53%, of the Santa Ana, Calif., collectibles company's outstanding stock.

On May 23, Shamrock reported a 6.65% stake in Collectors Universe.
