Shamrock Activist Value Fund reports 6.65% stake in Collectors Universe

Charlotte, N.C., May 23 - Collectors Universe Inc. investors led by the Shamrock Activist Value Fund, LP purchased 31,500 shares of the company's stock from May 9 through May 22, priced between $13.70 and $13.75 per share, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own 562,813 shares, or 6.65%, of the Santa Ana, Calif., collectibles company's outstanding stock.
