Gamco-led investors invest in Coley

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 21 - Coley Pharmaceutical Group, Inc. investors led by Gamco Asset Management Inc. and Gabelli Funds, LLC bought 1,847,445 shares of the company's stock between Nov. 16 and Dec. 18 for an initial stake in the company of 6.94%.

The shares were priced from $7.93 to $7.97 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Coley is a Wellesley, Mass.-based biopharmaceutical company.
