City National Rochdale Fixed Income adds Rainbow as portfolio manager

San Luis Obispo, Calif., March 7 - City National Rochdale Funds announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Graham Rainbow has been added to the portfolio management team of the City National Rochdale Fixed Income Opportunities Fund.

Rainbow is managing the portion of the portfolio allotted to Alcentra Ltd., a new subadviser to the fund. Rainbow joins Garrett R. D'Alessandro, Bruce Simon, William C. Miller, Jr., George Goudelias and Mark E. Durbiano in managing the portfolio.

The fund seeks a high level of current income by investing at least 80% of its net assets in fixed-rate and floating-rate fixed-income securities, with a focus on investments in high-yield bonds issued by corporate and municipal issuers, fixed- and floating-rate loans made to U.S. and foreign borrowers and domestic and foreign corporate bonds including asset-backed securities and bank loans.

Beverly Hills, Calif.-based City National Rochdale, LLC is the investment manager.
