S&P: Worthington notes BBB

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed the BBB corporate credit rating on Worthington Industries Inc.

The agency also said it assigned a BBB rating to the company's proposed $250 million senior unsecured notes.

The outlook is stable.

The stable outlook reflects an expectation that Worthington's credit measures would remain in line with expectations with operating performance benefiting from stable light vehicle sales and an improving nonresidential construction market and the company gradually reducing its debt, S&P said.
