Wintrust Financial amends credit agreement to extend maturity date

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 14 – Wintrust Financial Corp. amended its credit agreement with Wells Fargo, NA as administrative agent on Monday, extending the maturity date one year to Dec. 11, 2017, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The credit agreement was originally entered on Dec. 15, 2014.

Other changes under the amendment include:

• An increase in the threshold related to the negative-lien covenant to $60 million from $40 million; and

• An increase in the threshold related to the restriction on subordinated debt to $200 million from $125 million.

The borrower is a Rosemont, Ill.-based financial holding company.
