Prospect News reports two new defaults for March 24-March 30 period

Olympia, Wash., April 1 – Prospect News reported two new defaults for the period of March 24 through March 30.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by Volunteer Energy Services Inc. and MD Helicopters, Inc.

So far in 2022, Prospect News has reported 29 defaults, including 13 Chapter 11 filings, five each of missed interest and principal payments and missed interest payments, four Chapter 15 filings, and one each of liquidations and bankruptcy filings.

The two companies that filed Chapter 11 during the week listed at least $150 million in assets and $150 million in liabilities.
