Upper Mohawk Valley Water, N.Y., to offer $8.78 million green bond

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 10 – Upper Mohawk Valley Regional Water Finance Authority of New York will offer $8.78 million of water system revenue bonds, series 2016 (A1/A+) (green bonds), according to an Aug. 4 supplement to an official statement.

Interest is payable on April 1 and Oct. 1, beginning on Oct. 1, 2016.

Proceeds will be used exclusively for projects and activities that further the MVWA’s mission of providing safe drinking water, and to refund certain other bonds.
