California defeases $67.42 million University of the Pacific bonds

Norfolk, Va., Aug. 4 – The California Educational Facilities Authority defeased $67.42 million of its series 2006 revenue bonds issued for the University of the Pacific, according to a notice.
The following will be redeemed at par on Nov. 1:
• $1.52 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2015;
• $1,595,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2016;
• $1,685,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2017;
• $7,645,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2021;
• $10,685,000 of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2025;
• $18.67 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2030; and
• $25.62 million of 5% bonds due Nov. 1, 2036.
U.S. Bank NA is the trustee and escrow agent.
