U.S. Energy disclosure hearing adjourned to March 20

Portland, Ore., March 13 - U.S. Energy Systems, Inc.'s hearing for approval of the disclosure statement for its plan of liquidation was adjourned to March 20 by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, according to an attorney.

The postponement was the hearing's second since its originally scheduled date of March 9.

U.S. Energy Systems, a New York-based owner of green power and clean energy and resources, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 9, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-10054.
