S&P: Univision Communications on developing watch

S&P said it placed its ratings on Univision Communications Inc., including the BBB- corporate credit rating, on CreditWatch with developing implications, following an announcement that the company is exploring strategic alternatives, including a possible sale.

Affected ratings include its senior unsecured debt at BBB-.

S&P added the completion and timing of a transaction remain uncertain and when Univision finalizes its plans and transaction details become available, the agency said it will assess the company's resulting capital structure, liquidity and business profile in resolving the CreditWatch listing.
