Univar to start roadshow Wednesday for $750 million seven-year notes

Portland, Ore., May 15 - Univar Inc. plans to start a roadshow on Wednesday for a $750 million offering of seven-year senior notes, according to a syndicate source.

The deal is expected to price during the middle part of the May 21 week.

Goldman Sachs & Co., Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Wells Fargo Securities LLC and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. are the bookrunners.

The notes come with three years of call protection.

Proceeds, along with $750 million of new bank debt, will be used to fund a distribution to shareholders and refinance debt.

Univar is a Redmond, Wash.-based distributor of industrial and specialty chemicals.
