Ultra Petroleum files automatic shelf for preferreds, debt securities

Philadelphia, Sept. 22 - Ultra Petroleum Corp. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, senior debt securities, subordinated debt securities and warrants.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Ultra Petroleum is a Houston-based oil and gas exploration and production company.
