BlackRock plans to repay 3.5% notes due 2024 via new notes

Los Angeles, May 17 – BlackRock, Inc. plans to repay of all or a portion of its outstanding 3.5% notes due 2024 using proceeds from an offering of new fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Currently there is $1 billion principal amount of the 2024 notes outstanding.

The investment management firm is based in New York.
