CFE will exercise make-whole call option for 4 7/8% notes due 2024

Chicago, Oct. 31 – Mexico’s Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) is calling for redemption all of its 4 7/8% notes due 2024 (Cusips: 200447AD2, P30179AM0), according to a notice.

The $387,065,000 of notes outstanding will be redeemed on Dec. 1.

The company will pay a consideration based on a Treasuries plus 35 basis points make-whole premium and interest to the redemption date.

The precise redemption amount will be communicated to noteholders at least three business days before the redemption date.

Either the company’s manager of financial planning or the trustee may be contacted for more information.

After redemption, the notes will no longer be listed in Luxembourg.
