GlobalWafers buys back $115 million of 0% convertibles due 2026

Buffalo, N.Y., July 13 – GlobalWafers Co. Ltd. repurchased and canceled $115 million more of its $1 billion original principal amount of currency-linked zero-coupon convertible bonds due 2026 (ISIN: XS2344277178), according to an announcement on Thursday.
The convertibles were repurchased in open-market transactions between July 3 and July 5, inclusive, and subsequently canceled.
GlobalWafers is a Hsinchu, Taiwan-based semiconductor company.
