Bank of Communications redeems capital bonds due 2027

Concord, N.H., April 19 – Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. said that it exercised its right to redeem its RMB 30 billion tier 2 capital bonds due 2027, according to a notice.

The company had the right to redeem the bonds in whole or in part at the end of the fifth year of the issuance, and it completed the redemption of all of the bonds on April 13.

The lender is based in Shanghai.
