Bright Scholar repurchases $22.5 million more 7.45% notes due 2022

Concord, N.H., March 9 – Bright Scholar Education Holdings Ltd. announced it has repurchased an additional $22.5 million of its 7.45% senior notes due 2022 since Jan. 7, according to a company announcement on Wednesday.

Prior to Jan. 7, the company had repurchased $30 million of the notes.

The $55.2 million aggregate principal amount of notes that have been repurchased represents 17.5% of the original principal amount.

After cancellation there will be $247.5 million, or 82.5% of the initial amount, remaining outstanding.

Bright Scholar is a Foshan, China-based operator of international and bilingual K-12 schools in China.
