Carolina Bank redeems all $9.3 million subordinated floaters due 2018

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 6 – Carolina Bank redeemed all of its outstanding floating-rate subordinated notes due Sept. 30, 2018 on Tuesday, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes were redeemed at par plus accrued interest. The bank issued $9.3 million of the notes in 2008.

The issuer a wholly owned subsidiary of Greensboro, N.C.-based Carolina Bank Holdings Inc.
