Southern California Edison to redeem series D preferreds at month-end

Chicago, March 2 – Southern California Edison said it plans to redeem all of its outstanding series D preference stock.
The preferreds will be redeemed at $100.00 per share plus accrued dividends up to but excluding the redemption date of March 31, according to a company notice.
The company said it plans to fund the redemption using proceeds of an offering of a new series of preference securities.
