Kazakhstan’s Kazakhtelecom buys back KZT 3.22 billion of 9.456% bonds

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 29 – JSC Kazakhtelecom made a partial buyback of its 9.456% bonds due 2019 on Thursday, according to a Kazakhstan Stock Exchange notice.

The company purchased KZT 3,215,135,000 of the bonds at 206.484.

The company had registered to issue up to KZT 45.5 billion of the 10-year bonds in 2009 and had KZT 15.35 billion of bonds outstanding prior to the buyback

The telecommunications company is based in Astana, Kazakhstan.
