County of Union, N.C.'s 2004, 2007 G.O. bonds have mandatory tender

Minneapolis, May 15 - The County of Union, N.C., said five series of its variable-rate general obligation bonds are subject to mandatory tender for purchase, according to two notices.

The following will be purchased at par on May 29:

• $50 million of series 2004A bonds;

• $21.63 million of series 2004B bonds;

• $65,365,000 of series 2007A bonds;

• $39.22 million of series 2007B bonds; and

• $26,145,000 of series 2007C bonds.

U.S. Bank NA is the paying agent for the 2004 bonds, and Regions Bank is the paying agent for the 2007 bonds.
