Union County, N.C., calls $33.7 million of 2001 G.O. school bonds

Madison, Wis., Jan. 19 - The County of Union, N.C., said that it refunded and will redeem $33.7 million of its $56.7 million general obligation school bonds, series 2001, on March 1.
The bonds will be redeemed at the redemption price plus accrued interest up to the redemption date.
The following bonds were refunded:
• $2.75 million of 4.75% bonds due 2012, to be redeemed at 100.5;
• $2.75 million of 4.75% bonds due 2013, to be redeemed at 101;
• $4.3 million of 4.75% bonds due 2014, to be redeemed at 101.5;
• $4.3 million of 4.75% bonds due 2015, to be redeemed at 102;
• $4.75 million of 4.75% bonds due 2016, to be redeemed at 102;
• $5.1 million of 4.75% bonds due 2017, to be redeemed at 102;
• $5.1 million of 4.75% bonds due 2018, to be redeemed at 102;
• $5.1 million of 4.75% bonds due 2019, to be redeemed at 102; and
• $3.85 million of 4.75% bonds due 2020, to be redeemed at 102.
