Komag calls remaining junior secured notes

New York, Oct. 30 - Komag, Inc. said it will redeem its remaining junior secured notes due 2007 on Dec. 2.

The San Jose, Calif. maker of thin-film data storage disks currently has $8.167 million of the securities outstanding.

Holders will receive $118.512 per $100 original principal amount, made up of the original principal amount plus PIK interest payments to Nov. 15, 2003 plus $0.6678 of accrued interest from Nov. 15 to Dec. 2.

Komag on Oct. 9 announced the partial call of its senior secured notes due 2007, with the redemption taking place on Oct. 21. The company redeemed $12.1 million of the approximately $130.8 million principal amount of outstanding senior notes.
