TECT Aerospace seeks further extension of exclusive plan periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 30 – TECT Aerospace Group Holdings, Inc. is seeking another extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the company asked the court to extend the plan filing period through April 4 from Jan. 3 and the solicitation period through May 31 from March 2.

The company has filed a Chapter 11 plan and related disclosure statement, as previously reported.

“Granting the requested extensions will give the debtors a full and fair opportunity to prosecute the plan and disclosure statement without the distraction, cost and delay of a competing plan process,” the company said in its motion.

Wichita, Kan.-based TECT Aerospace manufactures high-precision components and assemblies for the aerospace industry. The company filed bankruptcy on April 5, 2021 under Chapter 11 case number 21-10670.
