Trina Solar units obtain working capital financing totaling $90 million

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 17 – Trina Solar Ltd. subsidiaries Trina Solar (U.S.), Inc. and Trina Solar (Singapore) Science & Technology Pte. Ltd. signed a total of $90 million of financing facility agreements with Wells Fargo Bank, NA and Barclays Bank plc.

Trina will use the $60 million five-year revolving loan signed with Wells Fargo to support Trina Solar U.S.’s working capital and business operations.

The $30 million credit line with Barclays will be used to support Trina Solar Singapore’s working capital to capture growing opportunities in the Asia Pacific region, according to a news release.

Trina Solar is a Changzhou, China-based maker of solar-power products.
