Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 11 – TenneT Holding BV (A3/A-) priced €500 million of 1.25% 17-year green bonds via Lloyds Bank, Rabobank and Royal Bank of Scotland, according to a company news release.
The issue brings the total amount of long-term green debt issued by the company to €3 billion.
Proceeds will be used to invest in the transmission of electricity from offshore wind farms to the onshore electricity grid.
Based in Arnhem, the Netherlands, TenneT is the operator of the Dutch electricity transmission system.
