Banco de Galicia buys back $10.17 million negotiable obligations

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 4 - Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires SA bought back and cancelled $10.174 million of its negotiable obligations due 2010, according to a letter to the Argentine National Securities Commission from the company's attorney, Patria M. Lastiry, dated Oct. 2.

After this cancellation, the company will have $342.665 million in obligations outstanding.

Banco de Galicia is a Buenos Aires-based bank.
