Syntax-Brillian unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, July 16 - Syntax-Brillian Corp.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by the U.S. Trustee for Region 3, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee is comprised of Tony Waggoner of ESPN Inc., New York; Joseph C. Song of LG Electronics USA, Inc., Englewood Cliffs, N.J.; H.G. Robert Fong of Solar Link Technologies, Inc., Ontario; Nicholas Krieger of NVC Logistics Group, Inc., Rockleigh, N.J.; and Jared Steven Palmer of AFN LLC, Deerfield, Ill.

Syntax-Brillian is a Tempe, Ariz.-based designer, developer and distributor of LCD HDTVs, digital cameras and microdisplay entertainment products. The company filed for bankruptcy on July 8. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-11407.
