Moody's ups Statni fond outlook to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on the A1 issuer rating of Statni fond dopravni infrastruktury to positive from stable.

The agency said that Statni fond is the fund established by the Ministry of Transport to ensure the development of the transport infrastructure in the Czech Republic, adding that the uncertainty on the status and role of Statni fond having dissipated, the rating can now carry the positive outlook of the A1 rating of the national government given the strong institutional linkages and the high probability of extraordinary support by the state should Statni fond ever be on the verge of default.
