Credit Suisse plans buffered return notes due 2018 linked to S&P 500

Chicago, May 10 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% buffered return equity securities due Dec. 5, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the buffer, between 10% and 15%, and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the buffer. The exact percentage will be set at pricing.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the underwriter.
The notes will price on May 31 and settle on June 3.
The Cusip number is 22548Q4X0.
