Moody's may downgrade SK Broadband

Moody's Investors Service said it placed the Baa3 corporate family and senior unsecured bond ratings of SK Broadband Co., Ltd. on review for possible downgrade.

The action has been prompted by news of the company's lower-than-expected performance with a consolidated adjusted debt-to-EBITDA ratio breaching a downward rating trigger of 4x, Moody's said.

The challenges of the heightened competition across the company's broadband, VoIP, and IPTV operation do not look likely to abate any time soon, the agency said.
