New York, March 8 - Bangkok-based Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction PCL said it plans to issue up to 3 billion baht of bonds.

The issuance will be structured in either one tranche or multiple tranches. The maturity will not exceed seven years.

Proceeds from the bond issue will be used as working capital, for business expansion and to repay part of the company's short-term loans.

A shareholders' meeting is scheduled for April 28 to consider the proposal.
