China’s Reward won’t make principal, interest payment on Jan. 25

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 21 – Reward International Investment Ltd. as issuer of $200 million of 7¼% senior notes due 2020 and guarantors Reward (HK) International Co., Ltd. and Reward Science and Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd. said that on Jan. 25 they will not be able to pay back the principal and interest of the notes on schedule.

Delisting is set for Jan. 29.

The 2020 notes claims have been declared to the administrator as a whole and will have equal rights with all ordinary creditors, Reward said.

Beijing-based Reward Science and Technology makes and distributes food products, including milk powder and anhydrous butter products.
